A great book for early elementary students! As a Children’s Librarian and Elementary Teacher, Chester Becomes President is an enjoyable book with fun illustrations, and also provides good moral direction. As an easy to read story about dreaming big, it is sure to delight beginning readers and animals lovers alike. I hope to see Chester run for a second term!
-Dian Newkirk, Elementary School Teacher
I did read Chester Becomes President and was very impressed with it, knowing that you wrote it as a child. Your family as well as Justin must be very proud. Hope you and Justin continue to enjoy the game of golf.

The book, Chester Becomes President is terrific! Just read it to my four year old grand-daughter and we ended up reading it four times! She loved it! So great that some of the proceeds go to your charity – We Grow Dreams. We wish you lots of luck and success.

As a grandmother and former teacher, I am always looking for books that teach valuable life lessons in a way that will hold a child's interest. Chester Becomes President does all this and more. Written by a boy who had experienced diversity and inclusion in his own life, this book delivers a powerful message with all the joy of a child's imagination. Chester demonstrates how everyone is important, that there are no limits to our dreams and that great things can happen!

I just finished reading Chester Becomes President. It was awesome! Naperville Central consistently displays appreciation, respect and support for those who may have special needs. I’m sure that your book will help promote and encourage others. Our school district mission statement is to develop students to become self-directed learners, quality producers, collaborative workers, complex thinkers and community contributors. You are a living model of this mission –particularly community contributor.
